September 18 - 25: 

It's time for the annual Peace Corps Connect conference and pre-conference events which are usually held in Washington, DC.  Due to the global COVID pandemic, all events are virtual and free this year.  However, registration is necessary in order to get the links to events.  You will find detailed information on pre-conference workshops and events and the conference itself  at https://mailchi.mp/b2425ff23383/conferencereminder?e=c5f3aaf72b.  NOTE:  All listed times on the website are EDT. 

• September 18 - 22:  Pre-conference events; all events are virtual except for the wreath-laying at President Kennedy's grave at Arlington National Cemetery.   

A special commemoration event on September 22 will mark the moment that President Kennedy signed the legislation establishing the Peace Corps exactly 60 years ago.  It will start at 6:30 AM CA time.  This moment will be celebrated with some very special guests including JFK's great nephew former Congressman Joe Kennedy, RPCV/Dominican Republic.

• September 23 - 25:  Peace Corps Connect Conference.  All events are virtual.  Registration link can be found on the website shown above.  The days are rich with scheduled discussions and plenary sessions.  Thursday and Friday (Sept. 23 & 24) are about 3 hours in length with Saturday, September 25 longer in length.  Details on topics can be found on the link shown above.
